My Opinion on "The Internet is Dead"

Tim Berners mentions in this video how he believes th Internet is broken. He stresses the fact that the internet is not a place where many connect with one another. Berners mentions how the internet is filled with fake news, hate speech, and a lack of privacy. I compeltely agree with his statement. Th internet is not a safe place anymore. The internet holds issues not only dealing with the ones listed previosuly but issues such as cyberbullying. The internet makes it easier for people to send hate towards oen another and spread rumors quicker than ever. This appiles to me because I have seen these issues happen. Not long ago, the creator of Facebook was sent to court because he was accussed of selling user's information. This is a major concern and a violation of privacy. It is not ethcial. The internet was meant to be a place where connections occur but now it is a place where people disband.

Winter Break My winter break was pretty lonely. I sat down in my couch and played Super Smash Bros. by myself. I didn't really go out much. I did hang out with my friends some days but in those days I wasn't feeling myself. I also hung out with my favorite person twice and it was really nice. Greetings In today's activity I spoke to my classmates Carlos, Alex, Jocelyn, and Lupe. We discussed on what we did this summer. Carlos said he went to Las Vegas and bought some shiny golden cards. Alex discussed with the group that she had plenty of school activities to do such as Link Crew, band practice, and a college course she took. Jocelyn mentioned petting her cat all summer and napping almost every day. Lastly, Lupe said she had a chill summer but did not mention much details about it.
